It may not get the fan fare of a five star but considering how mediocre to awful special teams has been the last thing we need is someone who can’t snap the ball to a punter or holder.
I was looking as to who it could be. I saw the #9 safety (Demetres Samuel Jr.) and then scrolled down two spots - to the #11 ranked safety. The Pouncy Brothers have another brother. https://247sports.com/player/ayden-pouncey-46139981/
Bama academics make it easier to remain in school/graduate. Happy to be above 90 percent. UGA grad rate is sad. If don’t make NFL, you are screwed going to UGA. No degree to show for it
This is the same story with Clemson. Know people that went there and the entire team was in recreation management or comm major. They did not have to work hard and really just had to show up. I'm not saying that Florida's players are all going through some rigorous curriculum, but what I am saying is how insane Georgia's 41% is. Just zero accountability over there outside of the field.
Not going to argue that we deserved a bowl game last year, but considering Minnesota got an invite with the same record based on academics: Grad rate: UF- 92% UM- 90% Public ranking: UF- #6 UM- #23 SOS: UF- #4 UM- #7 What am I missing?
The damages I would guess is there was no game because of college football football. College football prohibited there from being a game and the players from getting paid.
Wonder if NIL will be set up to dock kids significantly for not playing in Bowl games, for not attending or failing classes, and for arrests moving forward. Can’t be one sided payments
75% of that 93% graduated in football science. 15% Graduated in P.E. and the othe 3% were in various catagories.
