I’m really old, I’ve went back to vinyls and got all of my kids record players over the years (16,21, and 24 years old). Just enjoy music more that way. All my kids use their record players, of course they might just be making me feel better.
There’s just no other way to listen to a Pink Floyd album. Some artists it doesn’t matter but some it does
Completely agree. Even now that I am much much older there is very little I find more relaxing than sitting on the porch watching the sun set and listening to a Pink Floyd LP. CCR is another one that I love listening to the whole album from start to finish…. Do do do sitting on my back porch….
Most albums it matters. Albums were like a journey - it starts you out, takes you on a great ride, and delivers you back. There was no band for which this is more true than Pink Floyd, but other bands also come to mind — Moody Blues, Steely Dan, Allman Brothers, The Doors, The Beatles, the list goes on….
Do you really think a slight sidebar reminiscing about music is keeping you from access to any meaningful twitters? Damn some people will complain about anything
Do you pipe in recordings from your office so you can relax and enjoy the greatest hits of drills torturing patients instead?
I still have a cup from the Gator game against Georgia in Gainesville. I'll start the bidding at......
I remember upgrading to a cassette player that when you pressed fast-forward, it would automatically stop at the song break. And yes, I did show it off to everyone. In my Chevrolet S-10.
U2 Joshua Tree may have the best 3 consecutive songs on a cd I'm aware of to start out (not including greatest hits albums). Not a diehard fan, but I remember that.
