I’m not worried about the class. Billy has already proven he can recruit and evaluate talent. It will be fine. It’s the product on the field that most anxious to see.
Love watching guys grow up. Portal has jimmied that but still fun. Every year. 2026 should be special.
I have the sportrak pickup. Slightly better than the suv. There are people who actually like it. lol. It has been a reliable car but I am looking for my next ride. I will pull the trigger as soon as the ac goes out. I am not a car guy.
I had a 95 Ford Ranger. I would be driving down the street and the windshield wash would squirt water on my windshield and the wipers would come on, just out of the blue. Also, the dinging of an open door would start out of nowhere. Damn truck was possessed.
Didn’t know that. I would’ve bet money the main source of revenue for that little town was speeding tickets.
I got my Waldo ticket 35 or so years ago. The deputy was a scrawny little f*xk with a skull and crossbones tattoo on his forearm. Long before tats like that were common.
When that search book where’s Waldo came out my answer was always I found it once and will avoid it for the rest of my life.
My experience has been the city police departments are the most inconsistent of all law enforcement agencies. Seems like the better more qualified officers tend to go to the county sheriff’s departments and on up. I’m sure there are exceptions. Citrus County has no city police departments. The last to go was the Inverness PD, I think. Waldo was a good example of how a city police department can go bad. If I remember though, the city was depending on traffic violation fines to provide a large part of the cities funds. Also, if memory serves me correctly, there was corruption within the department that was uncovered when the Alachua County Sheriff’s Department took over the cities law enforcement. It was a mess. I think AAA sponsored signs on both ends of town warning travelers about Waldo being a speed trap. I read or heard somewhere that was the first time AAA had done this. Now I just have to worry a bout Lawtey when heading north on US 301. They too are patrolled by a city police department.
you could try changing your name to 2offtopic. nothing is off topic in July though. Except maybe football.
So... are we all about any new twitter posts... or are we still trying to find some recruiting tip-bits in these tweets? Oh well... Grand theft Baseball by Wyatt Langford.
