The NCAA needs to step in and stop this madness of transferring whenever they want. We need to get back to one transfer and then sit out a year. Make kids graduate.
Wow...FSU to Southern Miss back to FSU...it reminds me of a time I had stomach flu and went from the toilet bowl to vomiting and back to the toilet bowl. Good luck to Tater...but damn kid there are better places to go to college than these two miserable schools.
It was the NCAA that allowed yearly transfers. They were being sued and settled knowing they would lose. NCAA agrees to end transfer rules permanently
Exactly, not counting these dog days of summer we are entering , we still have an entire season to be played before any of these young men sign anywhere. And that's when you really walk it like you talk it. I can't wait till this team "surprises" everyone this season and Gators are on the minds of the CFB world.
Right. Just like last season, all we had to do was get to 7 wins and i’m sure we would have finished with a top 5ish class. I feel the same about this season too. Get 7 reg season wins and win a meaningless bowl game to get us to 8….we’ll be firmly in the top 10 recruiting
We didnt go over peanut punching the damn ball....come on...with all these staffers we now need to add the Planters peanut guy.
It’s actually from Charles “Peanut” Tillman who was famously known on the Bears for punching the ball out causing fumbles.
I know exactly how you feel, and I saw this coming for the last few years way before the NIL was even legal. Now we have what I feared the most... money corrupting college kids to leave their schools whenever they want to leave... to the highest bidder. If I had the chance to make money and play college college football I would too. Let's be real here. So here we are and the NIL will never disappear and college football can never go back to what it once was. A way for high school kids to play a sport and get a free college educations and other perks out of it. Right now the best deal any college football player can ever hope to get is in their current system of NIL freedom. Why would any college kid want to change that current system? I know I wouldn't, and the schools, right now, don't have to share TV revenue in this current system, so they're free to spend that money on other sports like Gymnastics and woman's soccer and lacrosse. So before we decide that these kids should be employees and take such and such money from the TV revenue of schools DIRECTLY, lets think of all the other non-profit sports that The Gators can afford to finance with this current system. Let's take a step back and let these NIL types find that money to fund our football players... in lieu of the schools.
Actually, there of thousands of kids getting schollys and free educations, just not the cream of the crop in high level football.
