Pretty much flies in the face of all these kids claiming they’ve been screwed over by only getting a total free ride and a college degree and all they have to do for it is play football
Kind of seems more common than not with these superstar college players. They end up marrying ones very high on the hot crazy scale, or at least ones that stick it out for long enough to get through the open relationship phase. Parsons indicated him and his wife were in the latter group. I bet if you did an anonymous survey of all top 25 college QBs about their wildest relationship story, you would quickly realize they live on another planet than us.
Absolutely no interest in providing useful/reliable info in this business, just whatever can be done to generate clicks. It’s insane how awful these guys are at their jobs.
I’m confused here. The revenue these players generate for the universities is enormous and has been for a very long time. That scholarship is more than earned and paid for by the players, it’s not free and not “given” to them. It’s the absolute LEAST and was a situation that disproportionately advantaged the coaches and universities for a very long time. The changes of the last ten years are long overdue and when I hear people lament the “college football of old” I picture license plates being pressed for .36 cents an hour
