I’d settle for an average sec line after last year but our schedules strength is yet to be determined. Let’s just hope we don’t have 4-5 top 10 teams to play this year. I doubt we are a top 10 just yet. I’m hoping for 15-20th.
Someone already posted the ranking (early one, but still rankings) and we play 9 ranked teams in 2024.
Yep but there’s no telling how good they really are but we will soon find out. Hopefully we are a top 20 team and only Georgia and Texas are all that good.
Those two teams you mentioned might be the only teams that really have more talent than the Gators do on paper. I expect that Texas at Texas to be the second toughest game next to UGA. The rest of the hard games are at home... FSU lost too much talent to be ranked as high as they are. It's not like they are reloading they are re-portaling which is not the same thing. They insult the value of their last QB by putting these lofty expectation on this year's FSU team.
Ol piss might be a top ten too. A& M maybe. Tenn another maybe. I’m hoping they all suck and we are much better than last year.
It's hard to tell which teams will have the best talent because there are too many variables... too many moving parts to predict which team got the right players for their needs, and the best overall talent. I think Napier filled our needs well, but we still have one more portal window to secure our final team. I'd be happy with one or more NFL receivers, or an NFL ready O-lineman.
It's the price college football pays not to have an overload type entity dictating draconian terms and rules like the NCAA wishes they could be in charge of... The downfall is all the player tampering. So, I guess the alternative is worse than what we now have, so given the alternative... I can live with it.
Lol... he's afraid that a coach from a opposing team will tell his players that he wants them, while shaking hands after games? LMFAO!
“The hard part about it is, the kids aren't asking about it, it's the parents," one DFO said. "They don't want to tour a dorm room, they don't want to meet with a professor, they want to talk about money." "Our stance when NIL came out was we will not recruit a player who asks about money," said a DFO representing a highly regarded academic institution. "That lasted six months. Everyone was asking about money." SMDH
