I've probably broken wind 88 times since having seconds on corned beef and cabbage last night, and I haven't stopped yet.
Some seniors at my club (80+) are excellent golfers but if they played anything over 5300 yards they couldnt reach par 4s and 5s in regulation. i play 4 times a week i come to gator country to not think about golf.
At the time I did that, I was not happy if I shot over 80. I can remember a day when I shot 40 on the front on the front nine and was pissed off. I shot 34 on the back nine that day. I've broken par on nine holes a few times but never for the full 18.
True story. I hit par for 9 holes once, …back in 2013. Then on the back 9, I completely fell apart and had two 8’s and a 7. Here’s the kicker …I had a hole-in-one on 17 (the only one I’ve ever had). Finished with a 36 and a 48. So I had my best 9 hole score EVER, my only hole in one EVER, and one of my more memorable 9 hole meltdowns EVER …all in the same round. I needed a drink after that.
Hoping we end up maybe 15 or 16. Needed this portal class to be top 10. Spots very limited now. We may gain a couple in the spring ( spots) but anyone transferring in obviously would have missed very valuable time in the spring.
That’s pretty much golf in a nut shell. I got my one and only hole in one during one of my worst rounds ever. My playing partner kept telling me I have to frame my scorecard, I told him to shut up.
May not matter but something to note…4 of our transfers do not have a transfer ranking yet (from 247 sports). I’m guessing this may impact the overall team transfer rating… Nunnery Carroll Spurlock And surprisingly Mazzccua. He will likely be our highest rated transfer and even though announced his transfer long ago, still no rating My personal opinion…the transfer ratings - outside of some first team all conference or bonafide superstars transferring…are pretty dart board-ish. (Throw a dart and come up with a rating).
