If I'm a NFL coach I'm saying :

"well son, here in the league, we know how to tackle, let's see some film of your game play vs a defense with a pulse."

 

CBN has came out and said that him and the staff don't care about jersey numbers and no jersey number including #1, has any particular significance to the staff. And I'm good with that, no need to place unnecessary expectations on players. I remember when the #6 on defense was the highly sought after number. I remember when Dante fowler was given the #6 and fans going crazy. Lol

 

It obviously means something to a player or none would tweet about it.

Sadly the staff not caring about jersey numbers could explain sending out a unit that has two players with the same number against Utah.

Not sure any one year player for the Gators has endeared himself as much as greenard. Loved his attitude and his game. Wish we had him healthy longer. Maybe the only good thing Grantham ever did here was bring him from Louisville

5 star on some services back when committed to Clemson. Wry few of the non-starters that transferred from UF had success at other P5 schools and even starters have had lesser years when learning a new system. Kemore Gamble is an example.

So many times the recruiting game becomes an end unto itself.
So much drama, so much attention.
It's understandable that an 18 year old can forget all the drama is just a step and the real world is actually about doing the very hard work.

I do remember so many on here going ballistic when Bowman went to Clemson.
That seems so ridiculous in hindsight.
