WW was a great receiver but it had little to do with measureables, which he was mostly down at the single digit percentile versus other drafted receivers, while Pearsal is in the 90+ percentile. I don't think we fully appreciated what we had.

Welker was much better with Brady . Not knocking Welker at al but just saying a qb that is accurate and timely makes a big difference when your names not Randy Moss.

It is really unfortunate this is a legitimate, albeit said in jest, concern because the Special Teams Coordinator who works out of a cubicle never took this into consideration and was not on the field to correct the mistake in real time. But at least we have West Virginia State’s old OL coach as an on field coach; recurring special teams issues of the past two seasons will be overcome by superior OL blocking techniques.
