Yeah they make it sound like Rashada is a victim. He signed his LOI but refused to enroll due to $. Not gonna feel bad if he flops.
He likely waited himself out of a lot of money by holding out for too much. How many of the schools that could pay him a lot of money are still looking for someone? Then factor in there are two schools who really wanted him and want nothing to do with him makes his market value drop significantly. He will either stand up on his own two feet and make it or he won't, but for his parents I feel no sorrow for his parents at all.
I'll be the one to say it... Very Mullen-esque. But could you imagine how poorly Lt. Dan would've done if he were still here? I bet our class wouldn't even be top 25.
Well at least most of the ones we signed actually made it onto campus. Unlike most classes that Mullen put together. I’ll take it and see how things progress. I think Napier is the right guy. The whole collective thing is a cluster of magnificent proportions, but none of that can be laid on Napier.
I don’t even want to think about what this class would have looked like with Mullen’s staff after doing 6-7 last year.
That's funny there. The Miami fans being all indignant that they would never offer 14 million, not getting the idea that UF didn't offer 13 million either to Rashada.
If true, let's hope this makes even more press than Rashada's deal gone bad. And ESPECIALLY about the fact that Ruiz couldn't cover. Maybe it'll make him less likely to be able to swipe recruits out from underneath us in the short term.
Mullen never pulled 5 top 50 D Lineman in all his classes combined. The quality of this class is at an elite level. We didn’t reach and round out the class with no-quals and 3 star projects to push the class ranking. The D just loaded up and the O hauled in 3 elite receivers. I’m excited to see this class. Won’t be shocked if all 5 D lineman play quite a bit this year as we gear up for 2024.
