I have to think we are done and need to leave room for some '24s as we have to fill a lot of holes with portals and CBN seems to not reach just for numbers.
Definitely seems like their SOS. I'm sure Georgia would mortgage the university and outbid any NFL team to keep him. But some guys get an NFL itch. And coaching in the same place for a LONG time isn't for everybody. I read SOS say once that ten years is about as long as most people can stand working the same job at the same place. I don't know where he got that from, but I've seen it true in my own life and experience. And it was obviously true in his, as well.
Here’s my perspective on someone like him…you can always go pro. But you will rarely be in the position he is now in college. He has an amazing chance to 3-peat. And has it rolling in recruiting
I agree that he wouldn't walk away now. But when the rest of the conference starts catching up (because they WILL) and he perennially loses 2-3 games a year, he might get the itch.
Also, have to think our OL coaches could make him a monster and 1st rounder. Kentucky's OL was way down last year from previous years. He would be making a real career defining decision to move here. Getting the last visit before he has to choose is huge.
Billionaires fund more when it increases their balance sheet than when it is for fan purposes. NFL can always pay more for coackes' salaries than college. NFL revenue far exceeds all of college revenues and donations.
Yet the top college qbs have salaries that are not bad compared to the average nfl coach. Not many nfl coaches have the job security tgat comes from college football.
Wish he would. Seems like only way we get close to a Georgia next few years. Dude has a fire that is just different.
So 2 kids "shock the world" then break their "commitments" in short time purportedly over money. Florida may have issues with its NIL buy clearly the kids/families in these cases do as well
