Can still grab some great kids in the spring, but the challenge becomes, they will not have had the spring practice and Played in spring game with their new team as I don’t believe that’s possible timing wise. But if they are good enough and have already proved it at high-level really shouldn’t matter.
I posted that we were getting much faster in another post here and someone thought to give me an "optimistic" rep on it... Lol. Yeah, we are getting much faster... Lol... the same two clowns at it again.
I’m confused. Is he declaring for the draft or is he out of eligibility? My last job, I left it. Of course, they demanded that I leave, but I left it.
Look at the QBs in Emory’s class. Travis at #25 Trey Lance at #49 https://247sports.com/Season/2018-F...gs/?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool&Position=DUAL
Agree with you. "starters" don't necessarily mean quality. Th board may have already solved this topic but I didn't want to read through 5 pages of the bickering back and forth. If you look at the 247 rankings of players in the portal, you will find 5 UGA players ranked in the top 34 while we have 2. Maybe they weren't starters but I think we can all agree that starting for UGA is a little tougher than starting for us. I don't know how many of the players below are starters but if you go by rankings Top 50 includes 5 UGA, 5 TAM, 1 LSU, 1 SC, 1 OU, 2 Vandy, MSU 1 and 2 UF. Top 100 rankings include 6 UGA, 7 TAM, 1 LSU, 2 SC, 1 OU, 3 Vandy, 1 Bama, 1 Ark, 3 MSU and 2 FL Top 150 rankings include 9 UGA, 7 TAM, 1 LSU, 3 SC, 3 OU, 4 Vandy, 4 MSU, 1 Bama, 2 Ark, and 2 UF UGA has 15 players in the portal with a ranking of .87 or higher. UF has 10 UGA has 8 players in the portal with a ranking of .90 or higher. UF has 4 * I would assume all of the Vandy players are starters. The original poster wanted to exclude head coaching changes but don't know if that is completely fair since we fired our DB coach Anyway, I stopped counting after 150. McClellan is ranked 178. Kamari Wilson ranked 241. Kimber is ranked 346. Presumably we have recruited via high school or will go after kids in the portal that are better than these 3. We shall see.
Here's the thing... if you do NOT think we're getting faster (PLAYERS) than go ahead, but we are getting faster so the optimistic makes no sense. Edited: Unless you're a douche.
Rick... Don't hammer feminine hygiene products like that Lots of feminine hygiene products come out of the woodwork to defend themselves.... Awesome Recruiting is dotted with them, everywhere these days. Go Gators
I've seen that same clown negative rep others here over and over again... for no other reason than to boast his lack of decency and decorum.
I would like to see more hurry up offense too, but that is another subject all together. Up tempo would be nice but at least Wilson will have more speed round him on offense, which means the defense will have to pick their poison. I just hope we figure out a 10 and 00 personnel set for these speedy receivers. In an instant at least one receiver will get open... if we (Napier) designs the plays correctly. I say put as much talent on the field at the same time as you can... on offense and on defense.
All the speed in the world won’t help with two minutes left in the half at our 40 when we go full upside down dead turtle for 3 plays and go into half with all three time outs. Prove me wrong Billy…
I think you missed my earlier posts. I meant to say that we got more fastazz players... not a new offensive system.
Pre season: Look at all these talented young players that could get a lot of PT. Mid season: We're too young to win. End of season: Those young players will develop, wait till next year. Portal Season: It's OK they're leaving, need to make room for these young guys. <- we are here REPEAT
