Agree, but if you made comments in this forum like the author did, you get labeled on here. We went backwards from what we had in the previous months - sucks. Some teams jump ahead, not good, especially when they are rivals. Let’s hope the ones we signed instead are as good or better.
Which is why it is odd that Ed O didn't jump at the chance. He'd coach the DL and be the next coach in waiting.
Not Twitter / X but social media related, on Instagram found it encouraging / interesting that Zay Mincey commented on LJ’s live announcement “Letsssssss gooooo lj”
Who the hell is Mark Ryan? And "no further questions" is the stupidest thing ever. How many 5 stars did Mullen sign at UF? A big fat 0. Napier has signed 3 or 4 based on the service.
I think the point is Mullen was known as not a recruiter and that’s supposed to be Billy’s forte. The facts speak in that Mullen recruited better.
If CBN’s Gators had a 13-0 record this year we would be at the very least sitting in a better position. But he was in his second year and not playing an ACC pussywillow, well, maybe not willow, schedule. As for Miami, who the Hello, well, maybe not O, knows how they can recruit as well as they do. I suspect it’s about $$$$. Certainly not the crowds they draw, er, do not draw to their games. I think we did better than FSWHO this recruiting cycle considering what we need as opposed to what we have coming back. And our position in those recruiting rankings that seem to mean so much to some folks, is actually going to get better before final ratings of the 2024 class.
He did have to deal with the gumps and mutts and others paying for top recruits when we didn't. I would much prefer DM with his distaste for recruiting to the BN product with his highly ranked verbal commitments, many of whom did not sign and none of whom have done anything of note yet.
Good lord it's like the Mullen fans just totally ignore that our dearth of linebackers, D tackles, safeties, receivers, tight ends, offensive line depth or QB room all occurred due to Mullen.....
