He flew down to Willis and spent time in home with lagway after he spent 6 hours at X's school. Heard CBN went around meeting all his teachers, was real comfrortable in that setting and him talking with X's teachers made a big impression On Filsaime.

As it should be. 10-6 in the nfl is a playoff team. Multiple undefeated teams every year just shows lack of competition and terrible schedules. I like our schedule next yrar. Wish all teams had a legit schedule.

Like Greg McElroy said last night on the schedule show, this year will be a litmus test for the playoffs. How do you rank teams with 2-3 losses that played a brutal schedule.

Yeah Texas had big struggles with Alabama so makes sense we’ll win in Texas.

One game does not compare to the grind of having to get up week in and week out to play an SEC schedule.

 

Pretty much more important than anything else right now we get guys that can come in and play immediately. Right now we are at a concerning pace in the portal and that’s putting it mildly

 

With all the “knowledge”/opinions of posters in this thread im surprised no one has pointed out the dec portal window for declaring is 12/4 lasting 30 days

There is a boatload of portal seekers yet to commit because they are still playing in bowl games. We shouldnt load up for the sake of signing currently available players we probably were only looking for 5-7 total.

For those using FSU as the poster child for success in portal usage, their 2023 results spanned 2 recruiting years after failing miserably at the traditional model of HS.

 

Maybe so but I stand by my statement that going to TX and winning is a tall task and TX isn’t scared to come to the SEC. Neither was Mizzy.
