Cam can play and was one of the few bright spots on the defense. The rest I'm with you.

    It’s easy, demote Johnson.

In my opinion, Johnson is the 3rd best back behind ETN and Webb.

I can't for the life of me understand why, of all things, people pick on one of our running backs. If there was one position that was good on this team it was running back.

Absolutely, running back is a strength, if not the strength of this team. It just sucks that the brightest of bright spots on a team desperately lacking such is potentially leaving the team - and seems to be doing so because he sees something wrong with the program’s direction. The podcast clip also mentions Shemar James as a potential candidate to leave. If that’s true, that’s extremely worrisome. For all the culture building talk, to have two of our young stars leave would be no bueno.

You know the huge staffs at Bama, UGA, etc? Part of their job is to recruit talented players from the farm league teams. Florida is on the edge of this category. Three losing seasons in a row is no bueno. Etienne is a prize … a lot of money and promises of trophies are being dangled in front of him right now you can be sure.

BN dug himself a massive hole. Easier to negative recruit UF right now.

Shit most of the people that cover UF or have poplar accounts online already spend most of their own time doing it.

First of all, I think I have shown 'guys like Farrell' have been proven he doesn't even know whether a student has graduated or not. Secondly, you have failed to show there are 'plenty of guys out there'. Third you have been repeatedly asked by others to provide your information on whom we have and have not talked to and you have refused to offer anything. You have also failed to show proof of whom we have extended offers to. Last but not least despite being asked you have also failed to offer proof that we are not pursuing aggressively those we can offer before tomorrow.

To quote a nice movie scene...'You have been weighed....'

I hate to see him portal out if that's his decision. In his case, this seems like a grass is greener scenario. I really think any place he'd be able to win RB1 would more than likely be a lateral move. If his intent is to go to a playoff contender it narrows the field quite a bit and there's a big haze now with the portal. I just don't see him beating out the talent at perennial SEC teams (BAMA, UGA) for all the carries. They've been recruiting well at rb too. Maybe Michigan, oregon, or Oklahoma? One thing he's got to do to be the rb1 is block and chip rush ends better.

I think he's actually benefitted from the shared carries personally. I'm not sure he'll be durable enough for 25+ attempts a game through a season. Didn't he get banged up in the fsu game?

Yep, completely in a vacuum with absolutely nothing to do with on field performance.

The hate Trell gets on here is weird. 3rd best back? Smh. Trell can rock. ETN is going to be an elite back next season and is better than Trell, I can agree with that. But #2 would start for a lot of P5 teams. The rotation we have doesn't bother me one bit, but I guess bothers ETN unfortunately.

Trevor peob has a lot of people telling him he should be RB1 and shouldn't be sharing carries like we do. I think he gets quite a few more touches overall than Montrell.

Montrell is our more well-rounded rb right now. Basically, he can do all of it pretty well. I have no idea why, but he reminds me of Rhett when I see him run. Trell has had a few unfortunate plays in the pass game which may tend to stand out for some uf fans. Some were his fault, some were on our qb making what should be an easy play hard.

Montrells stats are nearly identical to Etiennes.
