What role has our OL coaches played in the success or failures of our OL recruiting the past two years? NIL I agree is a factor but what about our coaches and their personalities etc.
Our nil was a mess because we didn’t have it already in place. We were way behind on paying players. As to the abundance of talent, we have a great class coming in but without an oline, those kids will also go to the nfl after getting their asses handed to them in the sec.
Have the big check ready because the top teams have theirs and we should already know the amount that gets rejected by now.
The oline coaches definitely have a target on their back but they may just need the check to get it done. It’s not like they have the talent and are wasting it.I guess it’s possible they have the money and are being turned down however cash talks and bs walks so I don’t believe that.
Theres a lot of 6’0 180# guys in the world to catch and run with the ball. There are very few people period tgat are 6’6” 320 that can run and block. Way fewer to chose from and way more high demand for them. Brady didn’t it with average talent except for Gronk and the year they lost with Moss. Mahomes loses possibly the best receiver in the game and wins anyway. Receivers are nice no doubt but give me those big boys and we aren’t running a stupid assed trick okay on fourth down, Tebow is ramming your poop back in.
It is something to be filled with lots of cash and handed to the top talented players in the country. PS: a McDonalds bag will work sometimes.
What will happen to "3-star money schools" as Arkansas is described in a recent article. Besides losing I mean. Will the SEC drop schools who can't match up in favor of schools with money? BTW-The article describes UF as having a "borderline unlimited pocketbook" (as opposed to some with an unlimited one) . https://www.si.com/college/arkansas...ensive-line-pittman-nil-collective-recruiting
I saw an article a while back that said uf is something like top 3 in booster contributions to athletics in the past decade or so. Pretty sure we were ahead of Uga and right behind Texas and Bama. Michigan up there too. We ain't broke. Just gotta make sure it gets allocated to the right spots.
A good example is uga's massive recruiting budget. Will they, can they, should they, and other schools shift some of that budget to NIL efforts?
She also probably won't come with a prenup. Swifts money is most certainly gonna be off limits to Kelce or any guy she ends up marrying.
