As long as the networks nor their affiliates cannot be part of the NIL. Yeah... I know exactly what you mean Skink.
I signed a lot of documents over my 37 year career stating I didn’t have any family members being paid under contract for services under my responsibility, yada yada How is this any different?
I don't get where you're going. Are you talking about family member gaining money/financial considerations from a player's NIL deal?
I have a hard time taking PFF serious. There's no way they can watch every game in the nation and every player and have a legit letter grade in a day or two. Like they gave Max Brown a grade and he was only in there for one play and it was a handoff lol.
No, I’m talking about an employee of the state being in a position of directing money to a family member via a state institution. I’m probably wrong but there’s a real odor to it
Those were the helmets they had before Jerry Glanville became coach. He switched to black. I really liked those!
I hear you, Bobby. I want the guys that we had in the USCe game in the last 4 minutes of the game to start against UGA when we play them... they were gettin' it all over the field. And I'd like to see our defensive coordinator play-call with that sense of urgency all game long too.
spot on. And many of the people they do have watching and rating players are far from football experts. I think it was during 2019 and 2020 (Trask was starting I remember that) stories came out that some 19 year old dude was in charge of rating qbs. He was literally shown in a pic sitting in moms basement working on his computer after playing some D&D drinking sunny delight and making qb grades. Okay, I made the part up about D&D and Sunny D but..the guy was a 19 year old college student who never played football nor coached football…wasn’t sure he had ever watched football…but he was hired to grade the and rank college qbs. Only qualification he had was that he had the internet, enough skills to use a computer, and the time. zero football knowledge
seems odd…I have been to multiple beer tastings /festivals where thousands of people - definitely more than 1250 people- would have drank 3 samples or more. Maybe he left some details. Side note…went to beer tasting on the grounds of the Nuremberg castle in 2014…at any US craft beer tasting festival I get a smallish cup to drink my samples. In Nuremberg, it was a 1/2 liter glass to drink my “samples”. Lol. Didn’t try as many I wanted to based on sample size alone.
Seems pretty easy to break. I bet Florida fans break that every game day just walking around to all the different tailgates. Nobody is keeping record.
