If we land all those players in both sections we will have signed 9 top 100 players in the country. WOW, THAT WOULD ROCK!!! And that would be 6 top 50 players in the country.
That would be one of the best hauls for us in the last 15 years. Crazy to think the Aggis had NINETEEN top 100 players on their class 2 years ago.
They've lost quite a few. That was the first "legal cheating" (NIL) year. So they went all out. Highest rated recruiting class in the h/o recruiting. Not surprisingly, they've struggled to keep all those egos on the payroll.
Some pretty successful teams/ offenses on both lists. As well as some bad teams on both lists. Obviously you can have success both ways and its a phillosophical approach. Like has been mentioned, I prefer a spread (probably because I have watched UF since early 90s), but if we were ranked #2 in the nation and #1 for skinny formations I would be ok with that too.
Great release, accurate, and all with feet not set and fading backwards. Kids got some serious talent.
Informative article. Thanks for sharing. After comparing the stats of Raiola vs Lagway provided in the article, I can't understand why Lagway isn't getting more love. Write down each player's stats on a piece of paper, side by side, and see which one jumps off the page at you. This bias _ _ _ _ is getting old. Now it will affect NIL deals for players. It really calls into question the credibility of these recruiting services. Enough with my rant. Congrats to Lagway and Nasir Johnson.
Agree. Raiola has pedestrian numbers in comparison. DJs biggest perceived weakness last year was his completion rate (60% last year). This year he is better than 75% while Raiola is 65%. DJ has over twice the TDs passes and nearly twice the yards that he does, too. Give that kid the spot he deserves!
