I keep wondering why was this not a thing all along? You always hear about culture and family and team, bringing back and embracing your history and success should be step 1 in our multiple rebuilds over the past decade. Napier may or may not be a X’s and O’s coaching genius (yet to be determined) but he seems to be doing everything else perfectly to a tee.
Lazy, arrogant coaches say they'll do it bu they don't - it takes effort and true desire for making it happen. Having an army helps.
Emerald Coast is LA.....I guess west of Panama City to Bama line. Nature Coast is the big bend, Dixie Co, Taylor County, thru to Franklin Co/Gulf Co. I think they have used the term since the 70's at least
It's that too, I grew up on St George Island and Taylor Co....Big Bend was the term for everything including inland. Nature Coast was used a lot in signage and marketing on the coast. I see it a lot in Steinhatchee, Keaton and Dekle Beach, Alligator Point, SGI, Apalach, Carabelle, Wakulla, etc
I had thought the storm was forecast for over here, I didn’t realize the forecast had shifted over there. We need the rain.
Igor as far as appailachicola and st George but no reason to go any further I don’t guess. St George is a cool place, natural. I find all the woods and rivers I need here and the water in tge gulf is too shallow over there.
Nature Coast all the way down to Citrus and Hernando Counties. It’s a marketing name intended to compete with things like Space Coast and Sun Coast and Gold Coast. I have been known to call the big bend the armpit of the state… until gaining a better appreciation of the area from Ozello to St. Marks and lots of points in between.
