When a team plays as a unit, it overcomes a lot of talent. But a talented team can look like crap if there are a bunch of individuals.
Our talent level at all positions is exponentially greater then last year's squad. Hats off to CBN and his staff as he has done a remarkable job transforming this team.
Two weeks from K.O., that will seem to pass in the blink of an eye. I think these guys are playing to redeem themselves this season and I'll be with them every step of the way. Of course, I want to win as many games as possible... who doesn't? But growth toward being a better team in terms of cohesion, physicality, discipline and playing with courage when things get tough that will tell me what I need to know about the "state of the program." I think there is no reason that we shouldn't strongly hope to win 7 or 8 games, and 9 is not undoable. GG!
I watched GA commit Dylan Raiola tonight. The kid has a strong arm but I wasn’t impressed with his accuracy. He didn’t step into his throws, always throwing off his back foot. Never followed through with any fakes.
