Unfortunately, he's going to get this sort of commentary game by game all year. I hope he does well, and I hope he's got thick skin because it could be a roller coaster of a season, especially if J. Taylor holds out or is injured, whatever his story is this week.

 

I had never seen anyone throw a ball like he threw early on at UF, while going down, into the EZ for a TD against LSU, on the road in red stick. Did I dream that stuff up or did that totally wacky display of arm strength and coolness under duress, accuracy and swagger actually happen as I remember it?

 

That’s just a bad pass for any rookie QB - pass rush in his face, off the back foot, trying to make a perfect pass through the needle with just arm strength. I love AR, but he’s gotta throw that away.

Same thing with Lane Kiffen. He takes great QBs in HS and develops them into poor NFL prospects. Marty Ice was a third round pick. Somehow he gets the reputation ax a good QB coach. jaMarcus Russell went from number 1 pick to awful under Lane while with Raiders. Mullen has produced way more NFL talent at QB in the NFL than Lane

 

It happened, and it was his one shinning moment (game).

 

Too bad he didn’t show out like Bryce Young completing like 6 passes for 12 yards.

 

There is a long list of QBs who struggled their first year in the league and went on to have successful careers. And this guy is gloating and all proud of himself after AR’s first 30 seconds. I guess it didn’t take him long to show the world that he’s an asshole.

 

AR plays from yesterday. Did some good things, had a few wide open zone reads where he gave it ( likely coached up to do that for preseason ) and 1 not good. Overall good job and He will be fine. Didn’t look too big for him at all.
