More like 2 and a qtr classes lol as his first class he had just over a month to dismantle and restock the class before signing day.
Transition classes almost always disappoint. When it comes to recruiting new coaches should be judged by the bump class. They have a full year to land the talent they want (not the remains of the previous regime). It’s a just better measure of a staff’s ability to acquire talent.
Right So all those have 2 and 1/4 classes under their belt because my point stands . A new coach hired in December to a team in an entire new region let alone to a power 5 school from a smaller school/league shouldn't be judged on that 2 month-ish time frame. With that being said CBN still did well to completely dismantle what was and build up what he got and still bagged a 5 star.
Bobby - Do "first" classes really count anymore?, (in terms of evaluating a coachs recruiting prowress), especially now? Perhaps I am overly influenced by UF / CBN, but it seems like the second year bump class is more like (year 3) nowdays.
