Bobby straight up admitted he didn't want anything to do with the SEC. Wait for it...because he wanted to play for NCs and he didn't think he would ever get that done playing an SEC schedule. In light of recent financial developments, perhaps we should add the descriptive term "broke-assed, would be money grubbers" to their resume.
I would prefer the SEC just not even bother taking their calls. Of all the teams from the ACC I can only see the SEC wanting Clemson/Virginia/NC. Why FSU?…. They’re poverty
Does UF have the right to vote on additions to the conference? Or is his lordship Stankey in total control of all such decisions?
Considering Texas A&M left the Big 12 to get away from Texas, and now Texas is joining the SEC I don't think schools carry much weight anymore in keeping a rival out... if the money for the league is right.
Can't decide which is worse... "wE dOnT bUy rEcRuIts" -Nick Saban- Or the " nIcK sAbAn iS a GrEAT reCrUitEr" crowd.
Well there you go. Galen and UF almost get the death penalty for what - something under$100 bucks ....... and this. I know that the situations were 35 - 40 years apart but this confirms for me that Bama has always cheated, will cheat now and will cheat in the future. I intensely dislike that program.
I hate the media and ncaa more than the school itself. Of course, it's the Bama influence that contributes to the selective enforcement
I'm pretty sure it's a joke website but it's not like Bama didn't relocate families from Hawaii to play football.... That's totally normal.
I’m not saying that didn’t happen but just want to throw this tidbit in there. The part of the Island where Tua is from is pretty pricey. So if they owned a home there, they could have sold that and bought 16 homes in Tuscaloosa for the same price.
That SOG needs to go if he screw this up. Honestly, why does the SEC need to expand? Too many pièces to split the pie already. They dont want to play the extra conference games anyway.
I agree but I agree with some pundits that believe 2 conferences will emerge from the chaos. How many will be in each conference? I don't know, guessing anywhere from 18 to 24.
How long before they get to play some of the new teams? The way it is setup now. Georgia have yet to play at A&M while UF has played there 3x already. We hardly ever play Auburn now. That was a good rivalry that was killed by expansion.
I think the list starts with some combo of Bench Pudge Carter Yadi Josh Gibson (non mlb stats) and Munson (died early) probably would get chatter as well.
