Yeah he would have had an impact for sure. The offense was more of the problem in 09, I know statistically the stats were really good, but we were in some nail bitters all year.

 

Meyer put the whole offensive game plan on Tebow. Zero imagination zero creativity. So much for the offensive genius

 

I never understood the concept of Demps and Rainey running up the gut over and over, smallish speed burners.

Did it all season.

 

You can make any offense look good with Percy playing.

I hated that offense. Give me the Trask / Fun & Gun any day.

 

Meyer valued ball security above all else. We took our deep shots for sure but most of our offense began inside of 5 yards or behind the line of scrimmage.

In the comments section some one intimated that Mayfield is there just in case Trask messes up, which I found interesting, becasue the prognosticates have that completely backwards.

I wonder if Trask starts from day one. We all know Trask in NOT a turnover machine... not in college, and not so much in practice either.

I hope Trask wins the starting job, he's worked hard to earn that trust as a QB1 for that organization.
