The most wasted defense ever. People act like we wouldn't have a chance against Bama that year but I'd disagree. That defense gave us a chance in any game.
Just couldn't have a worse game in jax that year, 6 turnovers? It was tough to watch, but I do think that 2012 team had a chance to play with Bama, defense was just tough and sound at tackling.
Nailed it. They had every break they needed to win that game. We actually protected the ball well thar year except for that game... That game is top 5 for all time hurtful losses including 2001 Tennessee and 2009 Bama considering what we lost in championships.
In my gator lifetime, 2001 takes the cake. Game being rescheduled and Tennessee playing with their hair on fire, speaking of missed tackles, that was a disaster for our D. 2009 in the moment felt like Bama was just better and UF was just never close to the same team that won it all in 08. who knew it was the end of one era and beginning of the Bama machine. 2012 felt like a nightmare all day long in Jax, but there was still hope UGA might lose a game later in the year. I mean if the playoff was around UF would have been in after beating FSU at the end of the year. 1998 at Tennessee was one that took awhile to recover from. That team gets overlooked at times, but it was probably 1 loss away from a chance at a title also.
And in the last couple years, construction prices have gone through the roof. Those are outdated numbers
Now I gotta root for him to get around 50 sacks this year and maybe lose my voice every week cheering for him
Feel like he wants to see what kind is season we have this year. Do we progress or same/regress. Makes sense.
Correct pronunciation of his name is Just-Us, as in when his mom was in the delivery room after delivery she looked around and it was just us. Great story. Enjoyed that very much. Hoping Boone has a breakout year!!!
