I was at that game. I think that was the last time my wife and I were at burrito brothers at its original location.
He can escape the pocket, but I think he leaves too early at times and could use it better like Trask did. At times he loses his stance to throw properly because he is backing from a perceived crumbling pocket. Tbf it crumbled early and often. He reads the field better than anybody we have had except Trask in the past couple decades.
I like what I see in Mertz in those highlights. But TBH, anyone who has had some really solid p-5 experience and has demonstrated the ability to hit at all levels of the passing game, regularly, would be a major improvement.
Well what happened to those that said he's slower than Tom Brady when we first got Mertz? That seemed pretty fast for a pro style QB. At least faster than we need for him to be.
nah. I know yall are kidding. She’s part of us and our history. One of the most unique states we have. I love Louisiana. I don’t love LSU though.
When I moved to NC in 1982, I called the owner of Burrito Brothers asked if he would be interested in franchising. He said he wasn't interested in giving up the recipes. Big mistake. Could have been the first MO's.
I have backward engineered the recipe for the sauce. Many years of trial and error. My wife and fellow Gators thinks it is spot on. I make it about 2 gallons at a time and vacuum seal freeze it. I’m actually due to make a new batch and was planning to make it this weekend. I haven’t made it in a year. That family should have franchised it 30 years ago.
Dude... what are you waiting for? Drop the knowledge on us! Only way to be sure is for all us gator faithful to make it and give it a try. We will let you know how close you are tot he original!
