Really sad. He had big shoes to fill as a freshman but delivered. There was some lighthearted ribbing with his dad, Chad, wishing he had more sons (Quincy). But he was not the same after the injury. I just hope he has a productive pro career and that Gator Nation doesn’t Bill Buckner his ass for the next 30 years. But his response sure didn’t help.
Maybe its just me, but the word tweener is like the new version of RPO. It's used constantly and half the time incorrectly. Maybe I need a chart that shows me ideal measurables for each position so I can understand a half inch in one direction makes someone a tweener.
If you’re talking about FSU graduates it’s 50/50 they are able to read at all…LSU grads it’s maybe 5% that can read…petty theft and farting they are 100%.
For tge last few years, Grantham took a ton of guys that were maybe too big for lb and too thin for rushers.
Like I told @tommyvee the other day when he asked me who is next to commit..... though I'm sure many expected thos... hometown kid and legacy.
Looks like he didn’t want to be left behind so he secured his spot. I think UM fans have given up on getting him.
I got about 20 minutes into that On3 video (I'm really not a video guy -- can people please just, like, write a damn article). I thought the guy was reasonable enough, and it's pretty silly to think they just have a blinding hatred for UF over there. What I did think was interesting was the statement that they were really pegging the rankings to the NFL draft, which I didn't know (maybe everyone else already did). That certainly goes a long way toward explaining some discrepancies. If you look at Jamonta Waller, for example, sure, it's probably the case that an EDGE player barely over six feet tall isn't going to get a high draft grade from the NFL in three or four years -- Elvis Dumervil was an insanely good college player and he fell to the fourth round because of his height. But if Waller turns out to be a really good college player who puts up numbers at UF, only to fall to the sixth or seventh round due to his height, that's still pretty clearly a win for us.
I was thinking about purchasing a bottle of "vino" to celebrate when he commits. Any recommendations??
Nolan smith has the same measurables as waller and was a beast in college and went 1st round in the draft. That dude was just talking out of his ass. If you can play you can play.
I get and understand that logic of using NFL potential as part of their ranking system but to say buddy is not good enough to be ranked is ridiculous. Even undersized HEIGHT wise, if he's productive at UF, he'll be a late round selection. No way they can convince me that There are 100 better edge players in HS better than him. I mean they have guys committed to Vanderbilt and Western Michigan ranked and he's UNRANKED?!?!?!? I'm not saying ON3 has to have him ranked as a 5* but UNRANKED?!?!?!? C'mon now cause we all know if he was committed to Bama, OSU, or UGA he'd be 4* at the minimum
Yeah, seriously, I can read - and would much rather do so than watch a video waiting for someone to get to the point.
