I agree. There are those types of people, but I can't stand those aluminum bench. No leg room, soulder room, or butt room. I'm 5'9" (200 lbs), so l am considered one of the fat asses there. However, I stand and cheer the gators the whole entire game. As a matter of fact, I've been yelled at by my fellow fat assers to sit down. Can't they increase the height of the stadium to create more space? That way they won’t drop the capacity of the stadium so drastically.
My take on if the stadium if they reduce capacity - sadly, I don’t think college football will be gaining fans in the coming years vs losing fans. At least from what I read on every message board and in discussions at bars, etc. the NIL era and transfer portal isn’t increasing fan satisfaction or brining in new fans - only turning off some fans. Even if only a few, any decrease isn’t positive. Add in all the other reasons people being up - cost of tickets, hotels, airfare, great TVs at home, heat, etc. I don’t think losing a few thousand seats will end up being a big deal, sadly.
With the exception of the elite elite guys, I don't really expect much from freshman linemen on either side of the ball. If a freshman DL can give you 10ish decent snaps a game, or an offensive lineman can comfortably occupy a second team slot and rotate in from time to time, that's a win.
agreed. Great thing is…the ones we want hell NEED to contribute are the ones we expect to contribute.
I’m not fat I’m just not a midget. Give me some freaking leg room. I’ve got to spread em to sit down.
The Bama game was enough to get me to do 95 degrees but I wouldn’t do that for your average game. So glad Tenn is a night game.
I’m 6’3”. The guy in front of me gets to sit between my legs. I stand most of the game too. That bench kills my skinny ass.
