I remember Oliver clobbering an Alabama TE in Birmingham in the 80’s. I was at that game and there was a video clip of the hit, but I wasn’t able to find it. The dude was awesome in the NFL and should have made the HoF.

If I remember correctly (as I knew quite a few players on the team) he was a "special" walk-on. UF didn't have any athletic scholarships available and he came on an academic scholarship (believe Finance was original major) knowing that he would be on Athletic scholarship the following year.

 

Oliver was called Robo Cop. steve Tannin was nit on the list and played several seasons in the NFL

I don't like this part below one bit... How many times do we have to say that the one thing you cannot do in a stadium renovation is reduce seating... non-starter.

Proposed upgrades are sure to include wider concourses, less bench seating, more concession options, larger video boards, a new sound system and improved lighting throughout. Capacity is expected to be reduced by thousands.

 

It means I get a seat instead of a bench on the 50. Hell yes.

 

I see too many sweat-hogs taking up space, and not yelling/screaming for our team... dead weight.
