yea been hearing that all over the podcast world and this staff will keep working to keep all these guys in the class, as will everyone else. We dont expect a great season but we held the class last year going 6-7. Most of these recruits want to be part of the rebuild and know it may be a struggle this year. I like or staff and our chances at keeping this class together.
There is no doubt among this group. Reggie F’n Nelson Could cover deep Could knock large FSU TEs out of the game Was one of the fastest on the team Thought he would be All-pro for years Clearly the TOP DB in Gator History IMO
and it’s even funnier hearing that talk come from Miami fans about a class “falling apart” after a bad season when they just went 6-7 and still brought in the 7th ranked class but us being capable of doing that IF we win 6-7 games isn’t feasible lol.
I can’t speak for the older guys but Lito or Nelson probably did the most for us right? With haden having a great UF career, (but in a LOADED back end) and having the best NFL career?
I know Lito never won a title at UF, but as a kid, he was the man. Some of that was the return skills after the int, but he always seemed to make plays that swung games. He also probably had the best NFL career of the group, him or Haden I guess? Janoris may have been the most talented cover guy of them all. He did start as a freshman for the 08 team.
Nelson was NASTY, could be getting discounted due to how short his UF career was. I wasn't around for Loius Oliver. Haden was a 3 year starter and Lito also started 3 years.
