    We need double digit attrition just to sign 20 high school kids......and a huge percentage of the "fat" has already been trimmed from the roster. We have single digit seniors and not a ton of draft ready juniors. I's a challenge to remove 25-28 names from the current roster.

    Look at the way the top teams have been recruiting while we were left in the dust. It's brutal, and "professional" - hard decisions have to be made and feelings get hurt. Guys get cut - roster and recruits ... it's the harsh reality of the talent acquisition business.

    Never been a fan of the shock the world types and I'm not sure we have really benefitted from any of those either. Not knocking the kids who do that but It seems like they get caught up into a moment when they do that instead of making a reasoned level headed approach.

    You only have to look at this past offseason to know we did exactly that. My point remains, the bulk of the fat is gone, it's a lot deeper cut to get the numbers some are talking about
