Agreed but you don’t pay too money for a 27 yr old rb. Very rarely do they produce at that age. Likely he’s good for anther year or two at best.
Yep. He and his agent are going to expect an offer of $5+ million and a multi year deal. The teams are probably going to want to offer $2-3 million and only a 1 year deal, especially since he's coming off a surgery. I don't blame the Vikings for not keeping him on roster and I don't blame other teams for not seeing him having much value in trade. So here's my question. Cook is under contract and the Vikings still owe him $2 million after releasing him. Let's say for the sake of argument that another teams offers $2.5 million. Could the Vikings come back and offer him $3 million, so in the end, he plays this year as a Viking for $5 million instead of the $15 million he was due under the old contract? Is this something they can do? Would he be willing to retire if he doesn't get the minimum $5 million deal his agent is floating? I'm not really sure how these contracts work.
Does the state of Florida allow for pay to play (up front money) in "armature" student athletics? I wonder if the state of Georgia does...
Too may ranking systems to predict the best players 100% of the time. But normally there are some you can bet will; be raked as the best and they will be the best. Where would you put Lagway in that list of 2024 QBs?
Teddy Foster hudl That must have been some All-American performance at the camp to get an offer and official visit, if his season highlights weren't enough.
Decent film on him Wanne and at 6'-6" or 6' - 7", 320, it would seem the staff could really shape his body to position. I'm relieved UF got an offensive lineman on board. Don't forget, the third straight, big June, recruiting visitor weekend coming up!
We aren’t taking reaches . I guess we have to show some patience. The players we have are really good.
