We’ve lost more commits than we’ve gained the last 2 weeks. Guess those rented cars don’t mean that much n

 

I feel like when our basketball team won back-to-back nattys and our football team won 2 in 3 years it kind of fueled each other and they played off that momentum of each other's success. I also feel the success of both sports is what gave us that sort of national prestige as a Superior Athletic University that allowed us to become even more relevant.

I think always hearing about "Gators" winning this championship or that championship in multiple Major sports (I know we win a lot in the less popular sports) keeps the Gators in the forefront of athletes. Can you imagine if our football and basketball made it back to one of the top schools in the nation to go along with our baseball team? I would be beyond elated.

 

The next 6 months (on the field and recruiting) is crucial for the future of gator football under Napier and Strickland.

 

Disappointing but not completely unexpected. I know the kid is a strong prospect, but I can't help but wonder how much playing time he'll see at UGA any time soon. In fact, I wonder if he would have even received an offer from the dwags if Billy hadn't offered him first.

 

Time to go all in on Jerrick Gibson.

 

If it is truly a sink or swim situation that will absolutely be settled in the next six months, (and IMHO it isn't) we are seriously screwed. It sounds like ou are exactly the kind of "fan that BN was addressing when he cited the need for patience.

I personally give all coaches at least a 4 yr run. My post was more just what I think the local and national media will start putting out there.

 

All about $$....just not sure you spend big money on a RB.

If observations concerning "done deals" are extraneous now, we're not going to have very much of substance to talk about...one way or another.

 

Oh you can talk about whatever you want but if he doesn’t come back next week to UF for his OV that ship has sailed. We just don’t have the ability to give kids the jump on or get left behind pitch that other schools do. He knew UGA could fill his spot someone of equal or better and he knows we can’t. If he comes next week cool but if he doesn’t that was probably the best RB we had a shot with this year.

 

Respectfully, you're taking a lot for granted, which is also permitted. In fact, I do it pretty frequently myself. But in this case, I'll see how we do between now and NSD.
