Meh... the article even insinuates that the numbers are misleading. The example given that UGA doesnt even have their own planes and pilots. Spending nearly twice as much as the next school to land the #3 class just means youre not smart with money or business.
Everything you’re saying makes sense — but I’m not willing to accept that nothing can be done. Maybe the worthless useless NCAA could simply make (and enforce ) a rule that if the total NIL for a team exceeds a certain amount, they’re ineligible for the playoff. SOMETHING
It use to cycle around a lot more. It’s been the same four teams recruiting very top heavy for over a decade now. The othe 30 legit programs are just trying for top 10.
Something can be done but the money at the top isn’t interested and the Vandy’s of the world are satisfied taking their big fat check. Boosters pay the payroll for the entire sports programs? Why would schools want that to change. It always comes down to money. I’d love for my customers to pay all my overhead and employees. Sounds too good to be true right. I bill for the job , then another bill for my showroom , labor, and material. Sounds fantastic to me.
Yep, there's only 5 active head coaches to have won a natty right now. Saban, Dabo, fisher, Mack brown, and smart. You could say coach O if we're being nice but he isn't a head coach anymore.
I think our D-line "hand fighting" techniques have been mostly non existent since Dan Quinn left. He was a great defensive coach.
"Is Bol Bol and John Bol related? But though 2024 Sunrise Christian (Kansas) center John Bol isn't related to the late great Manute Bol or Orlando Magic center Bol Bol, he still possesses some unreal interior talent that's led him to become a hot target on the recruiting radar for some of the nation's top program."
Apparently in Sudan it's a pretty popular last name kinda like Smith or Williams in the states. In Sudan 1 in 45 people have the last name Bol
