2005 was Meyer's first "big time college football" game at night in the Swamp against tennesse. That was the year he took flack for referencing his players as soldiers I believe due to injuries to players in that game. I want to say Caldwell had a pretty significant injury but I could be wrong. Meyer proved to be a dirtbag but the media got on him early for things like this. Doubt he catches the same flack if he coached at a few other schools in the SEC.
I don't drive out of my way for a few cents on gas deals but buccees is routinely 30 to 40 cents a gallon cheaper than everywhere else and its on my way home from work. You just have to know how to navigate the parking lot, always take the back road to the pumps. Skip all the congestion and then take the middle row in between pumps to avail yourself to pumps on either side. I get in and out in no time. There is always an open checkout lane too. Their food is overrated and now overpriced but there are a few things I grab there from time to time. Overall good but I don't get peoples fascination with them.
I don’t go there so getting in and out isn’t an issue. It’s the 100 yard long double row turn lane that gets gridlocked all the way back to the two exit ramps off I-95 that I hate. Unreal traffic that damn place attracts. Did I mention the light pollution? Geez I eish they’d
They say other schools have been asking about these new helmets. If they work then hail yeah, get them for all our players too.
Seems like around the same time Winslow had the soldier comments after a game in front of his locker also. I believe he broke his leg on a kickoff and may have opening kick.
Winslow was a freshman in 2001 so a little earlier but yeah, he caught hell too. Had to look it up. Yes. Broken leg 2nd half kickoff.
Hard to see that massive tow truck parked in your lane when you’re staring at tweets on your cell phone
