Yep, then that same weekend we got 5* safety Filasaime to commit and suddenly Pride wasn't as much needed with the question mark on his knee.
Can you imagine how devastating it must be to see your whole career potential get derailed by a knee injury? So sad for the kid - I hope he lands somewhere and does well (as long as it isn’t against us)
Agree. Let's see how, or even if, Pride plays this fall. Rumors his rehab hasn't gone well. Shame, cause seems like a great kid.
You know....I'm not 100% happy on how we've moved in the portal, but overall i'm ok with it. If Macuzza is able to suit up this fall, then not being as aggressive on the OL is fine with me since we did bring in George and Goodwin. I trust Sale and Stapleton. And I feel you about that WR and Safety rooms. We have talented true freshmen coming in but they are TRUE freshmen. I know a lot of Napier's 2022 class played last season, and played a lot of snaps as the season went on, but i'm with you that it would be nice to get an experienced guy back there even if he's not a starter. Here's another reason why I'm ALL IN on Napier and willing to give him 5 years to right the ship. He's evals while at ULL is oozing out now https://247sports.com/Player/Kameron-Pedescleaux-46047942/high-school-203092/
His highlights are 7 1/2 minutes of absolute destruction. That kid is a gifted and very smart player. As good as he looks, Adarius and Myles are rated higher. We're getting closer to recruiting at the level of the top programs.
I've always felt Phyllis put Finebaum on the map. Her super-fan psycho perspective made his show entertaining and was a perfect compliment to his analytical personality. She is the only reason I ever listened.
It's interesting how Paul has this formula of allowing a certain set of "regulars" not only call in but banter with each other. Crazy "larry" (I think thats his name) takes the cake. Guy shoud be in a psych ward.
