Heard D. Moore hurt too. Any word on what the injury is?

You said it about the Scapegoat. Never seen a fan base go at a kid like our fans have at Anthony. I guess I’d get it if he was in trouble constantly, nasty, and had awful numbers. But Anthony put up solid numbers and is an awesome representative of our University.

Russell was not a combine warrior. Athleticism definitely not off the charts.
He ran a 4.83 and didn’t do half the stuff we’d expect. If 4.83 had been 4.6 I’d say he had one decent combine result.
    Bench NA
    Broad Jump NA
    Vertical NA
    20 yard NA
    3 Cone NA

I’d say combine was not very telling to not good. There’s a reason he didn’t do anything as he weighed in at least 15-20 pounds overweight.

Shocked drafted high with a combine like he had.

He's an awesome representative for sure, but his numbers were comparable to Franks. And our own fans literally booed him during games. The man had to shush his own team's fans

Just stop. Now you are just being stupid and trying to start an argument where there isn’t one. NO ONE HATES ON ANTHONY! For Christ sakes …this has been discussed over & over & over …& over again. And again …and again. LET …IT …GO.

We ALL see the talent. We ALL want to see him do well. We ALL think he has the chance to do great things. We just didn’t see it here. In a Gator uniform. You and a few others keep pushing this nonsense that everyone is ashamed of him and it’s just BS.
    Just stop!

He may be a GREAT NFL QB. Everyone has acknowledged that. It just sucks we didn’t see it here. It doesn’t mean we aren’t rooting for him.

I concur. And it's perfectly alright looking at it either way. AR is who he is as a passer and a runner; physically gifted beyond words and subpar both accuracy-wise and in reading/taking advantage of what defenses are giving you and in game preparedness in general. Also, to be frank, AR appeared to take his foot off the peddle on numerous occasions as the season progressed in an attempt to avoid possible injury. He clearly did not view his time at UF as an end in and of itself, but as a means to an end - 1st round moolah. Who the hell can blame him? He made a sane business decision if things go as projected. But that was then, and this is now, so It's just as fair for fans to look forward to seeing a QB hit short and medium routes in stride on a pretty regular basis. I think it's fair for fans to look for a steadier, more consistent performance at QB overall and particularly when it comes to keeping the damn chains moving. Oh, and someone who's got his head totally into UF FB and school - with nothing else except for women of course, rattling around in his head would be really nice too. I'm not hard to please at this point at all.

Did you watch him throw the ball in games. It was fairly obvious that Wilson could throw the ball and make decisions in games. His running ability was on tape, not running a combine number. AR has a long way to go to be an nfl qb, Wilson was much more polished. AR hasn’t proven much yet.

Socker Boppers. Do any of you remember those from the 70’s? Big blowups boxing gloves. Maybe they can make an nfl pad and helmet version?

I think they expected him to stay and play more then 1 season before they can justify the hype they gave him. .

I get why he would leave with the money he is gonna get, but his early departure as our starting QB basically relegated him to one starting season as our QB in a losing season with avg stats all while showing he is fragile.

Crazy how these things are. 2 weeks ago this would have been me. I live in an 8 unit condo building. I came home for lunch and couldn't stop smelling the faint smell of smoke. I ran around my unit for 10 mins thinking there was an electrical fire in my walls. I almost just went back to work when I didn't find anything. But instead I decided to call 911 because I would have felt horrible if I didn't do anything and would rather look stupid over nothing.
It turns out the unit above me had a stove fire that had ignited his cabinets and was about 5-10 mins from getting into the rafters and burning the entire building down. No one was home in the building except for an elderly couple that lives 3 units away and they were unaware of anything going on until the fire dept showed up and evacuated the building. FD was able to contain it to just that unit without causing water damage to mine.
