    He was added to the squad last month, before Napier said we would still be looking at QB transfers in the spring. This guy was always meant for the scout team, not competition to start.

    He wasn’t highly ranked coming out of HS. And with the DB haul this last class I would think they want to space them out. JMO

    Just taking the average doesn’t seem like a sophisticated/fancy algorithm. Can’t most of us just take an average of the other 3 and start our own algo? We can call it the AlgoGator!!!

    I do suspect another one of the (bad) fruits of NIL will be this. Coaches more likely to jump to the NFL than pre-NIL. Recruiting is becoming such a cluster of madness and stupidity. Who can possibly enjoy that? Not to mention managing all of these newly minted millionaires once they hit campus. I can't imagine the chaos.

    I agree but it’s always been that way to a certain extent. Two different worlds and the nfl is the higher level job.
