There is for sure but I have much less interest and probably go fishing that Saturday. The tv contracts aren’t paying for those games either. I loved the all sec Covid year.
I get it....but you need everyone to have that type equivalent schedule to make it work. Personally, I enjoy those games, watching the young guys get a chance to show something. Always fun seeing the backup qb and skill players. Nice relaxing tailgate and game, kind of a breather.
Hmm, your not supposed to do it already? What’s the penalty going to be, caneky? Is it retroactive to zook field last year?
I'm not arguing your point. The point is simply that you can't add additional SEC or P4 OOC games without giving up home games and SEC teams are not going to give up the revenue of the extra home game. It's just not going to happen. LSU usually has 8 home games every other season in a 12 games season. Above everything else, it's an extra chance to get alumni on campus one extra time each year and work donations.
What I’m saying is the big sec home game pays at least twice what Furman pays so adding a sec game at home every other year is probably a wash and would create tv revenue. A game that we can’t even see on tv and has a face of less than $50 isn’t helping money. It’s does however give fans that can’t afford the big game an opportunity to go to a game I guess.
Don’t tell anyone in Columbus that OSU plays the “game”. They think everyone just loves the program and everything they do is above board. Only the cheaters in the SEC pay players.
