Ruiz is after building a stadium. Hundreds of millions of dollars in tax breaks, deductions, etc. not to mention hundreds of millions he will bank.

NIL and the Miami Hurricanes are just the side show.

 

40 HS players signed the last 2 seasons, plus 10 transfers currently on the roster (added by CBN) = 50 players added to the roster since CBN started.

We currently have 75 on scholly, so 25 Mullen guys remain on the roster.

 

I get all of the buzz surrounding Sonny Dykes this year, but let's see how this works out over time. He has a career record of 83-64 (56%).

First year at Louisiana Tech: 5-7
First year at Cal: 1-11
First year at SMU: 5-7

First year at TCU is an outlier.

 

Thanks- that makes it pretty much Napiers team by numbers, but the Mullen guys will be 3rd and 4th year players…we shoukd see glimpses of Napiers teams this year

 

Exactly, a few million for players is nothing to him.

 

Napier had a ton of his first class play this year. I expect a bunch of tge new freshman will play also. We are going to be a very young team for tge next couple years.

 

I think our 2-deep will be younger, but the bulk of the production will come from Jr's (we have 21 Jr's, as of now, for next season) and RS sophomores next season, with some freshmen contributors here and there.

2024 could have some very nice experienced leadership/production, with experienced backups too.

 

Its just painful that we should be cleaning up when both Miami and FSU are down and yet we find a way to stumble on our own sack instead.

 

I’ll have to take a look T who those juniors are. So many missing pieces, I don’t have a grip on the two deep.

I agree. But it doesn’t make it better by telling them suck…they won ten games. That being said Norvell is successful in the portal but that’s not going to last with NiL and his hs recruiting is poor considering how long he’s been there.

 

Thought I read Cam Ron Jackson - DT - will announce a commitment tonight. Was planning to visit UF 1/6. Someone - hopefully us - dropping a bag to get him to shut it down?

 

Honestly don't like the sound of that though we have had plenty of time to go over numbers and how he fits.
