Bro it’s been one year and UGA is the defending champs. Also Saban is going insane trying to get a couple more rings before he retires….just signed his best class ever. It’s safe to say it’s unreasonable to think we can compete with that yet. You can be disappointed with missing on the 5 stars and still think this is a super solid class with a ton of talent. If this is our floor, that’s great. if Napier lands this class next year but hits on 1-2 5 stars we will be happy

Money can’t be put aside, it’s the biggest difference between programs.

i hear you and agree but we cant just “money aside” anymore. Secure the bag first is the motto for a lot of these kids nowadays…then hit the portal and go where you really wanted to go lol

if everyone operated the NIL landscape like UF is doing which is take care of the current roster first/more as oppose to taking care of HS kids first with (alleged) upfront money once they hit campus….then im sure recruiting for UF would have a higher hit rate. As it stands, unless UF’s collective and boosters can get up $10 mill a year on their own for HS/portal recruits…things could possibly be the same with recruiting if we stay with the plan we use now….unless we start to win and win BIG.

And Bobby, I am thinking this MIGHT be the case with Walker who went to UCF....
Go there and play your first season in Orlando to make sure his mother is happy and then, go to the portal and transfer to Florida in front of huge crowds and national TV to finish up your college playing days.

“I think that a good rule of thumb in recruiting is just if you don’t know if the kid is committing to you, then a kid probably isn’t committing to you. For the most part, even if they aren’t telling anyone, you still somehow find out that it’s you. And if you don’t know, he’s probably not,” Turner said. “So, it does kind of take the surprise element out of it. For the most part, you can read between the lines a lot of times. So, it just depends. There weren’t really any surprises this year, but every recruiting class is different and every year is different. So, it’s been a good year.”

Katie Turner details UF's signing day, how the process has changed

Agreed. Maybe those tickets are used by the season ticket holders and not resold on the secondary market.

Film review shows his reads were very good.

The problem was the lack of designed runs for AR

Two things missing IMO, stupid $$ and the impression by a kid we are a title contender
