After watching that clip of Princely basically slow dancing with the Oregon State OL while only down 10 in the 2nd, I’m thinking the problems ran deep in the team Napier inherited.

Let’s consider the reasons Mrs. White and son would intentionally snub Napier in their announcement — given what we’ve heard from so many people about what a genuine, likeable, upstanding guy Napier is.

This is a ground up rebuild and I think we have to put our faith in CBN and staff and consider things like this as more of a reflection on player than CBN. Not very classy on White’s part and that’s telling us something

 

This sucks

 

Meh.

Two polar opposite coaching styles. Some will be attracted to the other style. It is what it is. The man told us it was gonna be ugly and to be patient.

Reading these forums, it’s clear many can’t.

 

Can we renegotiate with him..and he decides to stay?

 

17 year olds don’t even know what a message board is outside of Reddit… which is also a bit old fashioned for that crowd.

 

Anyone who watched Gator football this year could clearly see that the current roster was not performing at a high level. A complete rebuild is what is needed and is what is obviously happening atm. I for one am kind of excited to see what the product on the field will be next year. I already figured on a mediocre season next year. I hope in year 3 it all comes together. I am an eternal optimist when it comes to Gator football.

If a player is part of the culture you are trying to change, do you really want them to stay? I have no clue about the team culture but it appears this was not solely his decision.

There’s a reason he is in the portal and we don’t know what that is.

And we'll be intentional about adding good players to the team and good people to the team." —-It’s clear there are two camps: those who trust and have confidence in Coach Napier and his processes/plan…and those who don’t. He’s been here one year. As many others have already stated, what he’s done so far is very strong and impressive. His ESD class is reflective of that.

 

What do we know that gives us any inaction of why he is in the portal?

 

If there was anything intentional, don’t let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya.
