Not many here seem to appreciate that. Top to bottom, this is one of UF's deepest classes ever. No filler at all, leaving plenty of room for transfers.

 

There are very few stud transfers left. Napier's army of staff is wayyyy behind in transfer recruiting.

 

There will be plenty more portal entries. We don’t even know the entirety of what’s available yet.

 

Not many here seem to appreciate that. 18 four star prospects is unprecedented. This is one of the deepest UF classes ever.

 

Fingers crossed. Without quality transfers, 6-6. Again.

 

Silver lining to Bama's class. Five of their 5 star signees plus 4 star Tony Mitchell were recruited heavily by Gator coaches. Let's see who gets antsy and enters the portal.

 

I'll happily go 6-6 again with all the young guys getting reps, improved coaching and another similar or better recruiting class. Big picture people.

 

I agree and can totally see this class as the core of Napiers program. By 2024 if we can get 25 from the past two classes contributing to the two-deep roster with the rest consisting of impact transfers, then 2024 will be a good year. I sincerely hope 2023 is not ugly...

 

I believe Finebaum said Of their last 100 recruits 2018-2021 … 42% have hit the portal since, there are plenty of former Bama commits cycling around … so being a hat on the table, may be an investment in the future now …

And you would be correct. But UF isn’t getting into the bidding war racket, and I’m one alum who fully supports our policy. If we can field a team full of carefully selected solid players who want to be Gators that’ll work over time.

Nothing suggests that the balls to the wall approach taken by scUM and others will be sustainable. Meanwhile Bama keeps doing what Bama has always done and little changes

 

It could be that the reason top recruits don’t really consider Florida is because so many so-called Gator fans on here talk gloom and doom about our coaches and players.

 

But not ending with another old fashion wood shedding in a bowl. If we can’t field a team that can make it a game, PASS on the bowl and get to recruiting.

 

If we go 6-6 next year and load up on both lines, TE, LB, TB and get a few quality WRs I'll be ok with it.

If "load up" means a top 5 class, yep I could choke that down I guess but 6 and 6 is the low end of my expectations on the field.
