haven’t we only played like 1 true road game (not neutral site) outside of the SE in many years? Cuse in 1991? I don’t think we’ve played a regular season road game (not neutral site) west of the Mississippi since like USC in the early 1980s. Hard to say we will be a poor traveling team compared to anything recent. (I’m not counting bowl and neutral site games…those are not the same as playing onsite at a road venue).

I’m sure as long as he doesn’t do something sinister like talk to a kid outside of school or at his school during an arbitrary time period he will be fine.

Amazing what and who they choose to Crack down on isn't it? I wonder sometimes if that had anything to do with Mullen giving up on running a program.

I believe it’s certainly Ego driven to a large extent by Ruiz, but as you alluded to I also believe other factors are involved. You are absolutely correct, in my opinion, about us having more than 5-6 players being influenced by a rival booster, but I think a few are see it as a trend… who knows they may be correct, but as you said… only time will tell if that’s the case.
Personally I think while the “noise” certainly picked up toward the middle/later part of the season, it’s not nearly loud enough yet to have any real effect on the powers that be.
I think Ahmad Black was correct when he got into the Twitter disagreement with a supposed Gator fan, (In the world of Twitter anyone can claim any allegiance they want, adding a Gator catch phrase doesn’t necessarily make one a Gator) and basically said that UF doesn’t care what an individual has to say.
That’s true, but they have over and over again shown they do care when the discontent reaches a certain level. It seems to me that even average boosters in large enough numbers have the ability to effect the bottom line. Non boosters will never move the needle, except perhaps to a small degree in merchandise sales.
I don’t see anywhere near that yet, attendance was up, enthusiasm was better even for the last home game. Of course it’s anecdotal, but I never noticed the grumbling that was present last year, especially late.
NIL has certainly changed the way recruiting is conducted, but I think has been money driven for some time now. Some will always play by the rules to as large of degree as possible… but many more have shown that the inconvenience of getting caught is far exceeded by what they view as the possible rewards.
Maybe I’m in a minority but I enjoy your posts, they certainly have a different style, I don’t always agree… but they are what opinion posts should be, an honest personal perspective and entertaining.

Bo Nix is coming back for another year, so I wonder if he thinks he's going to start as a freshman

Likely lip service and just playing the game again but he did say this...

"Yes, everybody wants me to follow Coach Prime, but I need to know if it’s not a fit for me, then I’ll go. If it’s not a fit for me, I’m not going. I want to make everything clear. I’m not saying I’m not committed to Colorado right now or that I’m never going to do it, but that’s not my plan right now to just go jump and be on the team. I’m just weighing my options out."

Kid needs new dreams if he’s dreaming of scoring a Miami TD to the roars of hundreds!

Long-striding tight end who registers as a top athlete and presents a mismatch down the seam. Measured at 6-foot-4.5, 230 pounds prior to his senior season. Has plus length with a 6-foot-9 wing-span. Tests as a top athlete in the combine setting, running an electronically-timed 4.8 second 40-yard dash, 4.22 second shuttle along with a 34-inch vertical and 10’8” broad jump. Often plays flexed out into the slot at the high school level.”

    That wingspan is ridiculous.
