After watching the offensive line last night, we may want to reconsider and offer okunlola 5 mil.

 

Good to hear…we sure need his help. Gotta start somewhere.

 

If he dropped back to pass he was just going to get clobbered. That offensive line couldn’t have blocked me last night and I’m 52 years old with a bad back.

 

to be honest, it was Kingsley and Tarquin struggling as they have ALL season. Kearney/Harris/Slaughter whoever NEED to take that job from Kingsley imo. I do think tho, the OL can be a strength again next year. Need to get depth

 

my man, my GOD we need all of the DL commits to sign AND ENROLL EARLY if possible lol. Since it looks like we MIGHT miss out on Jordan Hall AND John Walker, we better portal HARD and go hard for DT’s during NSD period

My point is that THANK GOD TREY DEAN IS FINALLY GONE and whatever blackmail he has on the university that kept him starting no longer matters

 

You said it. That was his biggest miss last year DT’s and linebackers and unless Will Norman signs we have no true DT I’m the class. Banks was a nice start but very very soon we need the following imo ( changed some after watching last night):

2-3 DT’s - Banks is 1 but with missing on Hall and Walker and Dexter leaving, we need an immediate plug and play guy. Banks, to me is a depth piece.

2 linebackers with one being immediate plug and play.

2 OL- regressed as year went on and not sure Leonard is guy at RG. Need to figure center out also.

QB- need one but doesn’t matter if can’t block for them.

WR- 1-2 with one being an immediate starter. Need a flyer on the outside.

TE-2 need a big time transfer here. FSU eating the TE market up as they’ve already taken 2 good ones.

Edge or Safety- best available we could use a big timer at either spot ( See FSU with Jared Verse and Jammie Robinson).

 

But for all those ( and there are many) that say bowl games don’t matter this illustrates perfectly that they do. Everyone’s watching and looking not prepared doesn’t come off well. Allows our opponents to negative recruit us big time.

 

So I assume Billy woke up today and is watching all the transfers lists tape right? And immediately having people right up the flight plan to go get them?

 

I certainly hope so.

 

Billy better have done his sleeping on the plane. He has work to do ASAP.

With tge bad optics, it’s almost like changes have to happen even if it was only the players.

 

And boy are we going to have financial competition for starting dt’s

 

I will say this he finished his career as a gator and gave it 100% regardless how bad at times it was. Unlike other seniors or guys who opted out for the next level. To me that shows character.

 

I like Dean with his shortcomings. He’s a gator through and through. I’m sure he did his best.
