Miami isn’t recruiting at Georgia’s level, let’s not kid ourselves just because they get a few big names here and there. Cristobal is no Kirby, and besides, Miami as a program had more talent than Georgia did when Smart was hired, and Smart at least had a winning record his first year and didn’t lose to MTSU or get embarrassed by 42 on his home field by his rival. Mario is a garbage head coach, always has been, always will be.

Norvell career 55-32 vs Napier 46-18 so with 2 more seasons as a HC he has 9 more wins and and 14 more losses. He has also never faced a schedule close to what Napier faced this year. Plus he ducked what a third of his Covid season and never played Clemson or UF in 2020.

Still annoys me about their 2020 season. Definitely would have been staring at 3-9 had they bothered to play UF and Clemson.

In what world would we all not do the same if we were billionaires and UF somehow sink to UMs level? Y’all are serious haters lol. Calling somebody else insecure by whining about them on a message board is not a good look

Cash is the easiest thing in the world to understand. No matter the issue, follow the money and things always make more sense.

Nah. I’d never want to appear to be Ruiz, I’ll take his cash but he is a real douchbag.

Compare career records between Mario and Napier please before you get snarky.

Except Kirby just did dumb shit and choked. Miami can’t even win regular games at this point.

Yep, it’s a talent acquisition business. We are saying that about Napier now. Just wait. Lol

I don’t agree with the name calling, but arguing with rival fans on Twitter isn’t a good look for anyone, especially one with his stature. If I were his PR guy, I would advise him on focusing on acquisitions and less on inciting other fanbases.

His point has nothing to do with Napier's first year. But If I were a betting man I would bet that Napier will have a far better record than Norvell has by the time Napier finishes his third year at Florida. And that's against far better competition too. The ACC is an utter joke.

The NCAA didn't want this. They wanted to hold on to their antiquated and illegal system of not allowing a student to earn an income or receive financial support outside of the athletic scholarship. No other scholarship has that as a rule.
A student can apply for and receive multiple academic scholarships as well as hold down a job. Athletes could not.
They were forced to rely only on the athletic scholarship and their parents.

Nah. Buying talent isn't the problem. It's the petty interactions on Twitter and unscrupulous tactics to troll other staffs that's the issue. I can see why some don't like the guy. Imagine Napier or any coach really going back and forth with strangers on the internet. It would never happen. Now ruiz isn't a coach but he is apparently embraced as a face of their program at the moment. It's cringey
