Am I the only one seeing Miami going the way of Auburn. Booster (ruiz) in control of everything and eventually burning it all down. I cant remember the booster at Auburn..one of you will....but this reminds me of that program. Ruiz is going to keep meddling until the coach quits or gets fired, no one wants to coach there, and players see the disfunction.

 

We are rated # 10th by 247....but If you count UT/Oklahoma in the SEC. We are 7th in the SEC...crazy.

Nobody can complain about Napier’s recruiting when he’s gotten two 5* star QBs in back to back classes, don’t be silly. Lagway has first overall pick in the draft potential and will help lead to a huge class in 2024, just be patient.

 

Scary thing is....neither has signed yet.

 

Lagway isn’t going anywhere as long as Napier doesn’t. DJ is a very humble kid who comes from a grounded family, he isn’t the type to pull a fast one.

 

When Billy gets back need to see a lot of Portal activity.

They aren’t building any kind of powerhouse as long as Cristobal is employed there, lol.

 

I would bet that they contacted the waffle company to get him the NIL enticement. No one will investigate and the the college football powers are steaming.

 

It really is gross that these rich boosters are like the face of the program and basically announcing the direction of the program as far as recruiting goes. It was much better when this was done quietly behind closed doors. And I mean this with our own rich booster as well, so this isn’t just a bitter about Ruiz post.

 

It really has devolved at light speed. It was one thing to speculate and acknowledge some of this was always going on but to sit there and openly brag about buying recruit after recruit just has a dirty feel to It. How often have we heard about the merits of the school, program, staff etc vs this douchebag fighting a twitter war and becoming the face of the program?

 

Ohhh …I have stories about the Barn and the Plainsman Network. Unfortunately cannot share. But there is a reason Lane shut that down. Freeze will fit right in …but he won’t be completely in charge.

Fong made a comment earlier about him possibility flipping to FSU.

 

Oh yeah it definitely was and this looks to be their common play. Lock a kid up and then have him “pretend” to have new found interest in someone else at the last minute to stir up drama and pretend like it’s a big win. Bain was never interested in FSU and Okunlola was never interested in UF. I’m not holding my breath with Fletcher either. Did notice today that McClain and Okunlola had the same visit date to UM. All this still was probably set in motion back in June when they were there.
