They have been pulling 5* WRs from all over the country since Meyer and especially Hartline got there. OSU has a nice campus (outside of dorms) and 90% of college kids can find the things they want on High Street. I’m not saying it is the nicest place but there are worse places to be than Columbus.

    Great offense
    Great coach
    Great facilities
    They win
Why wouldn’t a kid go there?
Just a greet school in so many regards. Winning really matters and they NEVER make excuses.
In terms of standards they have them. Fir example, 10 wins is a down year. Kids respect that.

Wasn’t Jeremiah Smith the guy that was tweeting at DJ Lagway after he committed to Florida? I thought he might be interested in Florida and that’s why he was reaching out. Surprised he committed to OSU.

The check cleared? Lol... who knows with these kids today.

Yes, that was the same receiver that was communicating with Layaway just the other day.

It is interesting when you listen to how the coaches sell Ohio State and Michigan. They say you have to play a lot of cold weather games in the NFL, so you need to play on that type weather in college to prepare you for a successful NFL career

Brian Hartline coached WR's draft wise:

    2019 - Parris Campbell 2nd round
    2019 - Terry McClauin 3rd round
    2020 - KJ Hill 7th round
    2022 - Chris Olave 1st round
    2022 - Garrett Wilson 1st round

Same could be said of LSU and Bama WRs.

2019: 1st rd WRs (in order): OU, ASU
2020: LSU, Bama, Bama, OU, TCU, LSU, ASU (I guess this was a WR draft)
    2021: LSU, Bama, Bama, FL
2022: USCw, OSU, OSU, BAMA, PSU, ARK

OSU had a good draft last year and probably will have a good one this year with Harrison and that other one that's sitting out, but its not a slam dunk to be a OSU WR=first rounder or even second rounder.

I don't fault anyone going there, I just think its odd these FL kids who have the talent to play anywhere want to play BIG10 ball up at OSU rather than SEC.

*edit, I left off PSU and ARK in '22.

Add a guy or two in this year’s draft and then add Marvin Harrison Jr who has a chance to be a first rounder and Biltetnekoff (so?) winner.

That's true, but their offense is NOT the same as it once was on the field, and on the scoreboard. It's "different" than it once was. They are NOT 'that' much better than other teams...
