Looking at how many interceptions (40+) he has facing big12 defenses, pass.

 

He has played a ton of football and has had OKState on the doorstep of winning the conference. Seems like he was playing well until their team fell apart with injuries. He probably wouldn’t be my number 1 choice but if Hartman or Leary aren’t available I would definitely take him.

 

He might be better than Miller, maybe not. If it’s not an upgrade, pass.

 

He was over 60% the previous 3 years.

But without a strong arm or run threat, he needs 70+% and high yards per attempt if that interception prone. Napier doesn't seem the type to suffer turnovers well.

 

He is definitely limited physically compared to AR. He has averaged 7.2 to 8.4 per completion over 4 years. He has also gone over 600+ rushing yards twice (1800 yards and 18 rushing TDs).

 

Disagree. Shows how good of a recruiting staff we have to even be a finalist for those guys. I would he absolutely flabbergasted if we landed any of those guys outside of Walker. All of the others are big uphill battles. Hope I’m wrong and you are right.

 

what proof do you have that they are long shots?

I'm NOT saying that UF will get them, but to call them LONG SHOTS has shown with their recruitment, that this isn't a "long shot".

 

I ain't counting anyone out with this staff and the recruits recruiting.

I don’t have proof. It’s just that Lsu always seemed to lead for Ricks, can’t see us landing 2 five stars out of Bama from Bama. Samson has been a UM lean for awhile. Hall is the best chance imo outside of Walker.

I just want to temper expectations on guys we got in on late so we don’t have the downers criticizing the staff.

No thanks. There are a dozen other options in the portal we should consider first.

 

Upgrade to the QB room. We should be able to better than that and grab a starter in the portal, but if push comes to shove...

 

Idk if he has gotten worse but I would certainly take a couple guys over him. I would probably put him 3rd or 4th on my list.
