David Waters from Gators Breakdown stated that Perkins always wanted to declare at an All-Star game. So he picked Texas A&M at the Under Armor All-American game but said he was still going to take visits.

skink, i moved on from this. i also never said he was. i said make sure your criteria for a good coach is consistent.

 

1) there is legitimate interest in UF from Perkins. Anyone who watched his video can see his eyes light up when they brought up the topic of his Florida visit. If he was faking that then he’s in the wrong field as a football player and needs to go to Hollywood and take up professional acting

2) *this is my opinion* when it comes down to it he will go with his head and choose the money (assuming the rumor is true and they have cut checks to these players for crazy amounts but hopefully that’s just rumor and we can make it equal to or more NIL money at Florida) and go to Tamu instead of his heart (Gville). Hopefully Perkins and his fam are forward thinking big picture about playing at a more elite program, getting better coaching, being a higher draft pick meaning millions and millions more in future earnings etc.

3) therefore, I hope when he picks Tamu on signing day that people don’t disparage him and accuse him of being a troll. I know most won’t but the vocal minority may.

Looks like Mike P is the guy to solidify the base. Seems like he’s hit every school within a 30 minute radius from Gainesville. And has some connection with many of the HS coaches.

Now if we can solidify a 2 hour radius then we’ll be competing for championships shortly. Yes just two hours.

Why do football players / coaches point at one another? Maybe other athletes do it too but the art of pointing has been mastered by the sport of football.

I think it's time to retire "the point".

I suggested "the point" for the family Christmas card but was shot down by the wife.

 

I remember when Ingram was in 8th grade making high school seniors look foolish. I always likened him as the predecessor to Kyle Pitts. Just a super gifted athlete.

 

Your criteria seems to be that he must have the name Deion Sanders.

 

He even made jokes about not attending classes at FSU. He’s a generational talent physically with the moral compass and leadership qualities of a door to door vacuum salesman.

 

Frankly, that's demeaning to door-to-door vacuum salesmen.
